Quick wins go by many names: low-hanging fruit, slam dunk, no-brainer. No matter what you call it, putting one in the win column feels good. More importantly, it can establish your credibility early in a new role or give you a jump start if you are struggling.
The best quick wins have these three important characteristics:
The results from your win should have a noticeable significant impact.
Ensure that your win aligns with your "North Star". Your "North Star" is the one thing that keeps you guided. It has been previously agreed upon by your boss and CEO as the most important thing. For example, if revenue growth is a your "North Star" then your quick win should impact revenue growth.
It should be fast to do. The effort and resources required are small in proportion to the impact.
Not only should your win be fast to execute, it should show fast results. You want to see meaningful results in a short period of time (days or weeks).
Ensure the impact and the results are highly visible. Will people be able to see the results when your project succeeds?
Don't be afraid to "win in public". That is, share your goal, process, and results with others.

Make a list of all the projects you think could be low-hanging fruit.
On a scale of 1 to 5, estimate how big of an impact you think each project will have. Then estimate how easy it is to do.
Multiply these two values (impact x ease) for an overall project score.
Sort your projects by the overall project score (impact x ease). Take the top projects with the highest score and you have good candidates for some quick marketing wins.

Speedcubing is a crazy sport. There are more puzzles than just the classic Rubik's cube 3x3. There are 2x2 and 7x7. There are events to solve it blindfolded and with your feet. There are competitions in which you try to solve in the least amount of moves.
How do I know so much about this? My son is a competitive speedcuber!
